TAKEBACK AND RECYCLE
RELY ON US TO RECYCLE ALL ON-SALE VEHICLES AND STARTER BATTERIES
OUR RECYCLING POLICY
As environmentally responsible manufacturers, and in order to meet End of Life Vehicle (ELV) legislation in the EU, Land Rover will take back all on-sale vehicles and vehicle starter batteries at the end of their life. This will prevent the landfill or incineration of all battery types, which was banned in the UK in 2010.
TAKEBACK
Takeback is free of charge and applies to vehicles with up to nine seats. When returning a vehicle, it must be fully complete, including engine, transmission, coachwork, wheels and catalyst (where fitted), and free from additional waste (such as garden and household waste and spare tyres).
BATTERIES
Alternatively, batteries can also be returned to Civic Amenity and Recycling Centres, Local Authority Battery Collection Schemes, Licensed End of Life Vehicle Authorised Treatment Facilities and Licensed Metal Recycling Sites.
