Our Six Hour Experiences run from 09:00 to 16:00 and include a one-hour lunch break, allowing time to relax, and reflect on the morning's driving. The remainder of the day is dedicated to developing your skills and exploring more challenging terrain.

Yes, most of our Experience vehicles are automatic, so you can take part with a full, valid automatic driving licence.

Please note: Defender Heritage Experiences are conducted in manual transmission vehicles. To participate in a Heritage Experience, you must hold a full, valid manual driving licence that entitles you to drive a manual vehicle in the UK.

Capacity varies depending on the experience and vehicle booked:

· One Hour Experiences – up to 2 participants (drivers and/or passengers)

For the Young Off-Roader Experience, up to 2 young drivers can take part and must be accompanied by an adult.

For younger guests who want to get behind the wheel themselves, we also offer the Defender Young Off-Roader Experience. Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome to accompany you to Land Rover Experience West Country. We have a designated area where guests can wait with their dogs during the experience.

Please note that, for the safety and comfort of our guests, Product Experts and animals, dogs are not permitted in the experience vehicles or on the driving routes.

As the Experience Centre is located on a working farm with livestock including sheep, cattle and horses, we ask that dogs are kept under close control and on a lead at all times whilst on site.

Wear practical outdoor clothing and sturdy, closed-toe footwear.

Conditions may be muddy and uneven, so layers and waterproof clothing are recommended. 

For your safety and comfort, wellington boots, flip-flops, sandals, and other open-toe footwear are not suitable for the experience.

Experiences run in most weather conditions, and many guests find that wet and muddy terrain enhances the off-road adventure. In the event of extreme weather that may affect safety, our team will contact you directly.

Yes, you're welcome to take photos and videos during your Experience, provided it is safe to do so.
