The New Discovery Sport won’t physically arrive in showrooms until late January 2015. We wanted to give prospective customers a taste of what to expect, well before that.
So, instead of just showing them pictures, we decided to do something different. After all, adventure doesn’t live in photographs.
Our innovative Augmented Reality technology lets people experience our new vehicle before it arrives in our showrooms. With a lightweight headset, powered by an iPhone 5s, with an activation marker placed on the floor, you can see a virtual 3D full scale model of the New Discovery Sport.
Retailers can then guide customers around the vehicle, explaining its key features. You can explore the interior, open the tailgate and see the unique 5+2 Slide and Recline seating in action, to get a real sense of the Discovery Sport’s size and scale.
