SCRATCH CARD COMPETITION - PRIVACY NOTICE

Competition overview

As a thank you for purchasing genuine Jaguar or Land Rover parts at the value of £100 or more (excluding VAT) during May to October 2019, we would like to give you the opportunity to take part in the Jaguar Land Rover Trade Parts Scratch Card Competition (the “Competition”). The Competition is only open to customers who are registered as an approved Trade Parts customer on the Jaguar Land Rover Trade Parts Database.

What personally identifiable information (PII) will be collected and used?

Your local Jaguar or Land Rover Trade Retailer will collect a limited amount of PII on behalf of Jaguar Land Rover Limited (“JLR”) in order to conduct the Competition and fulfil arrangements of the prizes for the Competition winners. Rest assured, only essential PII will be collected from you, as detailed below:

Contact name To liaise with you about your prize (acceptance/delivery/collection etc.) if you are a Competition winner
Contact email To liaise with you about your prize (acceptance/delivery/collection etc.) if you are a Competition winner
Your Company name and address To confirm your status as an approved JLR Trade Customer and match it with your qualifying invoice for the Jaguar and/or Land Rover part(s)
Company telephone number In case we need to contact you for further information about your prize or payment of your invoice (if you are a Competition winner)
Prize delivery address To make sure your prize is safely delivered to the correct address, if you are a Competition winner
Your invoice details To match it with your winning Competition scratch card and confirm that you have qualified to enter/win the Competition

PII collected for this Competition will not be used for any purpose other than the conduct and fulfilment of the Competition, including arrangement of distribution of the prizes, as set out in the Competition Terms and Conditions.

Third parties and retention of your PII

If you are a Competition winner, your PII will be collected by your local Jaguar or Land Rover Trade Retailer, who will then share it with one of JLR’s approved service providers so that they can contact you to confirm the prize you have won and make arrangements for delivery/collection of it. Those service providers who manage this process will only use your PII for the purpose of arranging the prizes for the Competition winners.

The PII we collect from you in order to run this Competition will not be stored for any duration longer than necessary. Once the Competition has closed and all prizes have been distributed to winners, the PII used for this Competition will be securely deleted.

The figures provided are as a result of official manufacturer's tests in accordance with EU legislation. A vehicle's actual fuel consumption may differ from that achieved in such tests and these figures are for comparative purposes only.

The figures provided are NEDCeq calculated from official manufacturer’s WLTP tests in accordance with EU legislation. For comparison purposes only. Real world figures may differ. CO2 and fuel economy figures may vary according to wheel fitment and optional extras fitted. NEDCeq are figures calculated using a Government formula from WLTP figures equivalent to what they would have been under the old NEDC test. The correct tax treatment can then be applied.

The figures provided are WLTP. WLTP is the new official EU test used to calculate standardised fuel consumption and CO2 figures for passenger cars. It measures fuel, energy consumption, range and emissions. This is designed to provide figures closer to real-world driving behaviour. It tests vehicles with optional equipment and with a more demanding test procedure and driving profile.

TEL (Test Energy Low) and TEH (Test Energy High) figures are shown as a range under WLTP testing measures. TEL refers to the lowest/most economical figures (with the lightest set of options). TEH refers to the highest/least economical figures (with the heaviest set of options). WLTP legislation dictates that where there is <5g CO2 variance between TEL and TEH, only the TEH is declared.
