YOUR RECOMMENDED ENGINE IS - DIESEL

INTRODUCTION TO DIESEL

All our vehicles fitted with Land Rover's new Diesel engines are a great fit for drivers predominantly taking longer journeys on motorways with some city travel.

All our diesel vehicles are fitted with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) and use Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to meet stringent regulations and lower tailpipe emissions.

  • Typically more fuel efficient than petrol engines.
  • Often feature more low-end torque, ideal for motorways, towing power and off-road driving.
  • EU6 compliant for emissions with CO2 level approximately 20% below petrol.

  • New diesel won't always be at its efficient best if you only take short trips or mostly drive in cities.

YOUR RECOMMENDED ENGINE IS - PETROL

INTRODUCTION TO PETROL

Our petrol vehicles are an ideal choice for drivers who primarily take shorter journeys and tend to drive fewer miles on the motorway. All our new petrol vehicles utilise the latest technology, including GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filters) to help reduce emissions.

  • Well suited to dynamic or high performance driving.
  • Typically more suited to shorter urban journeys than diesels.
  • EU6 compliant with cutting-edge technology to reduce emissions.

  • More tailpipe CO2 emissions than diesel engines.

YOUR RECOMMENDED POWERTRAIN IS PLUG-IN HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE (PHEV)

INTRODUCTION TO PHEV

Our Plug-In Hybrid Vehicles (PHEV) combine many of the advantages of electric vehicles with the flexibility of a conventional combustion engine. Ideal for short regular journeys and occasional longer trips, delivering optimum performance and efficiency.

  • Offers the flexibility of a conventional combustion engine for longer journeys without the need to re-charge.
  • Provide good fuel economy when regularly charged and capable of using no fuel on shorter journeys.
  • Prioritise electric power on shorter journeys for greater efficiency.

  • Long motorway journeys use only the petrol engine, minimising the benefits of the electric motor.

DIESEL

All our vehicles fitted with Diesel lngenium engines are a great fit for drivers predominantly taking longer journeys on motorways and rarely travelling within the city.

PETROL

Our petrol vehicles are an ideal choice for drivers who primarily take shorter journeys and tend to drive fewer miles on the motorway.

PHEV

Combine many of the advantages of electric vehicles with the flexibility of a conventional combustion engine for longer journeys with our Plug-In Hybrid powertrains.
