DRIVING ASSISTANCE
InControl includes standard and optional driving assistance features to help ensure the safest drive wherever you choose to go. All Land Rover vehicles come equipped with the following driving assistance features:
-
EMERGENCY BRAKING
The Autonomous Emergency Braking system ensures your vehicle is always ready to react to sudden hazards, reducing potential collsions.
OPTIONAL DRIVING ASSISTANCE
Additional Driving Assistance features are available to enhance your Land Rover experience.
-
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Designed to maintain a gap from the vehicle ahead, or a set road speed if there is no slower vehicle ahead. A speed can be set between 20 mph (32 km/h) and 112 (180 km/h).
-
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH STEERING ASSIST
Automatically centres and steers your vehicle in its lane while maintaining a safe distance from vehicles ahead.
-
HIGH SPEED EMERGENCY BRAKING
Detects if a potential frontal collision with another vehicle may occur and displays a forward alert to warn the driver to brake. If the driver doesn't react, the car will deploy the brakes in order to reduce the severity of the possible impact.
MORE FROM INCONTROL
*Blind Spot Assist can help prevent collisions. If your vehicle detects another car in your blind spot when you begin to change lanes, a rotational force is automatically applied to the steering wheel – indicating a steering correction should be made.
