ALL-NEW LAND ROVER DISCOVERY: CAPABLE ENOUGH FOR YOUR GREATEST ADVENTURES
  1. ALL-NEW LAND ROVER DISCOVERY: CAPABLE ENOUGH FOR YOUR GREATEST ADVENTURES

All-New Land Rover Discovery has benefited from its most significant set of changes yet. Building upon decades of experience, our technical team has given All-New Discovery a full-blown technological overhaul.

    • All-New Land Rover Discovery has benefited from its most significant set of changes yet. Building upon decades of experience, our technical team has given All-New Discovery a full-blown technological overhaul.

While the vehicle’s 4x4 pedigree remains intact, we’ve added a wealth of software designed to make the thrill of off-road driving more accessible. The same software also provides experienced all-terrain drivers with the resources required to tackle seriously challenging surfaces.

Air suspension offers 283mm ground clearance, an improvement of 43mm on the previous model. All-New Discovery also offers class-leading wheel articulation, approach angles and departure angles. This keeps the vehicle agile and responsive over rocky surfaces and stable on steep inclines.

Tackle water crossings confidently, with Discovery’s optional Wade Sensing system.

An improved 900mm wade depth (from 700mm) keeps you moving forwards through fords and streams, while optional wade sensing installed in the door mirrors alert you to both depth and hidden objects in murky waters.

All-New Discovery’s innovation under the hood is ingenious and purposeful – and it starts from the ground up. Active rear locking differential prevents unnecessary wheel spin – perfect when attempting to power up a rock-face or mountain pass with one or more of the wheels off the ground.

      1. Terrain Response
Terrain Response 2 Auto® and All-Terrain Progress Control assist with challenging terrain.

      2. Ground Clearance
Better than ever ground clearance of 283mm for greater off-road capability.

      3. Wade Sensing
Optional wade sensing measures depth using sensors in the wing mirrors.

      4. Improved Wade Depth
Tackle deeper water with an improved maximum wade depth of 900mm.

Once seated in the cockpit, you can access a wealth of off-road technology. Our award-winning Terrain Response 2 system automatically monitors driving conditions and surfaces, delivering optimal performance wherever you choose to drive. A twin-speed transfer box increases All-New Discovery’s torque at low speeds, giving drivers greater control of the vehicle when travelling over challenging terrain.

One twist of the rotator shifter on the centre column activates the optional All Terrain Progress Control. This enables the driver to set and maintain a steady speed in challenging conditions such as loose soil, wet grass and other unstable surfaces.

See how All-New Discovery can negotiate the toughest of obstacles.

The latest addition to a long line of Land Rovers, All-New Discovery derives its all-terrain DNA from impeccable stock. It’s smart as well as capable, and equipped with just the right features to keep novice drivers safe and experienced drivers challenged.

The figures provided are as a result of official manufacturer's tests in accordance with EU legislation. A vehicle's actual fuel consumption may differ from that achieved in such tests and these figures are for comparative purposes only.

The figures provided are NEDCeq calculated from official manufacturer’s WLTP tests in accordance with EU legislation. For comparison purposes only. Real world figures may differ. CO2 and fuel economy figures may vary according to wheel fitment and optional extras fitted. NEDCeq are figures calculated using a Government formula from WLTP figures equivalent to what they would have been under the old NEDC test. The correct tax treatment can then be applied.

The figures provided are WLTP. WLTP is the new official EU test used to calculate standardised fuel consumption and CO2 figures for passenger cars. It measures fuel, energy consumption, range and emissions. This is designed to provide figures closer to real-world driving behaviour. It tests vehicles with optional equipment and with a more demanding test procedure and driving profile.

TEL (Test Energy Low) and TEH (Test Energy High) figures are shown as a range under WLTP testing measures. TEL refers to the lowest/most economical figures (with the lightest set of options). TEH refers to the highest/least economical figures (with the heaviest set of options). WLTP legislation dictates that where there is <5g CO2 variance between TEL and TEH, only the TEH is declared.
