Sport and the great outdoors are recurring themes in the world of Land Rover, and the next twelve months are no exception.
Our strong sporting links with equestrianism, sailing and rugby continue through the coming year and we’re also proud to continue as presenting partner of the inspirational Invictus Games. Meanwhile if you can’t wait to pit yourself against the elements, why not book a trip to the Arctic Circle for our Ice Drive Academy? It’s a wonderful, wintry driving adventure in conditions every Land Rover is made for.

25 Years of the Goodwood Festival of Speed 12-15 July
Goodwood just seems to get better with every year, and this year the famous estate will once again host the ‘largest motoring garden party in the world’ now in its 25th year. Last year’s Land Rover Pavilion showcased the new Range Rover Velar and all-new Discovery, as well as a hair-raising off-road course to demonstrate Land Rover capability. It’s going to be hard to top that this year – but we have a plan!

A Cool Adventure
When Land Rover needs to test vehicles at minus 40°C or lower, our engineers head for Sweden’s Arctic Circle. And that’s where our famous Ice Drive Academy is based, offering you the chance to sharpen your driving skills on our ice track, explore the wilderness or simply wonder at the virgin snow stretching away to the horizon. You’ll stay at the luxurious and characterful Hotel Silverhatten and other activities include Husky Rides, snowmobile safaris and a breathtaking Arctic Circle drive.

Showtime in Geneva 8-18 March
The 88th International Motor Show at Geneva offers a fascinating mix of showroom-ready vehicles and future concepts, and Land Rover will be there in strength along with Jaguar. Hot topics this year are expected to be the move to electrification and autonomous cars. You can expect the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) P400e versions of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport to be the centre of attention, thanks to their all-terrain capability, 404hp power output and CO2 emissions of just 64g/km.
