Today Jaguar Land Rover UK unveiled its greatest presence to date at Goodwood Festival of Speed, the UK’s most prominent celebration of motoring.

The 3,000m2 two-floor stand will be comprised of a host of engaging visitor experiences, ranging from in-car passenger rides to virtual reality experiences. All ages will be catered for as the young and young at heart, can be fully immersed driving radio controlled Jaguars and Land Rovers.

2016 marks the Goodwood debuts of; the new F-PACE, Jaguar’s fastest selling vehicle of all time, the new F-TYPE SVR, Jaguar’s fastest F-TYPE ever and the new Range Rover Evoque Convertible, the world’s first luxury convertible SUV. In total, 25 Jaguars and Land Rovers will be on display throughout the festival. In addition, visitors will be treated to no-cost passenger rides in the Jaguar F-TYPE on a handling circuit and capability demonstrations in Range Rover and Land Rover products on the off-road course.

Jeremy Hicks, Jaguar Land Rover Marketing Director said: “This is our major automotive event of the year and that’s why we invest heavily in our presence at Goodwood. Our status as Britain’s number one automotive investor and manufacturer will be clear to see as soon as visitors walk on the stand and see our huge product offensive which sees us in the midst of 50 product actions over five years.

“No one else has the level of customer interaction we have. Visitors to Goodwood are our current and future customers, they are passionate and knowledgeable and it is the perfect place for us to engage them with our new products.”

Founder of the Festival of Speed Lord March said: “I am delighted with the experiences Jaguar Land Rover offer to visitors at the Festival of Speed. The passenger rides are thrilling, gravity-defying and make a genuinely exciting addition to the action.”

Following the incredible loop-the-loop stunt during the global unveil of the Jaguar F-PACE last year at the Frankfurt motor show, stunt driver, Terry Grant will be returning with the exact same car to tackle the Goodwood hill climb wowing crowds in spectacular fashion on just two wheels.

Making the very best use of the F-PACE's lightweight aluminium architecture and agile handling; the F-PACE will once again prove its ability to combine agility with sports car speed and performance.

Continuing, Jaguar’s rich sports car heritage at Goodwood, the iconic XJ13, the first Jaguar to be fitted with a V12 engine will be taking on the hill as well as the penultimate Long Nose D-type which raced at the 1956 Reims 12 hour and Le Mans 24 Hours where it finished 6th.

Guests who fancy themselves as an ultimate sailor will also have the virtual reality opportunity to work with Land Rover BAR, the British America’s Cup race team to keep the boat foiling above the waves.

The fun is not solely reserved for adults as new for 2016, the Radio-Controlled Jaguar F-TYPE drifting circuit will make its first appearance on the stand together with ever popular miniature Land Rover off-road course.
