HOW TO SET UP AN InControl ACCOUNT
If setting up InControl has not already been carried out by your local retailer, this video provides an overview of how to register, connect and activate your InControl features.
Check your fuel levels remotely, find your vehicle in a busy car park and even check that you haven’t left a window open – all through a handy smartphone app.
Land Rover InControl Apps enables you to use a variety of smartphone apps on your vehicle's touch-screen by connecting your device to the InControl Apps USB port.
InControl Secure uses tracking technology to alert you to an attempted theft, and signals your vehicle's location to police, for a timely recovery.
This provides in-car access to a 3G hotspot, enabling up to eight devices to be used simultaneously. Passengers can work or be entertained throughout the journey.

The Land Rover InControl Remote Smartphone App lets you prepare for a trip by checking fuel levels and range remotely. You can find your vehicle in a crowded car park or check that you locked the doors and closed the windows. Download the app now – it’s free and includes a demonstration mode.

SOS EMERGENCY CALL
In a critical situation, Land Rover’s Emergency Call will bring the emergency services to your exact location. If you are involved in an accident in which the vehicle's airbags deploy you will automatically be put in touch with professional help. Alternatively you can press the SOS Emergency Call button in the car to ask for assistance.
LAND ROVER ASSISTANCE
In the unlikely event of your vehicle breaking down, pressing the InControl Optimised Land Rover Assistance button will use satellite positioning and vehicle health information to guide the recovery service to your location, minimising delay.

What is InControl?
InControl is a group of "connected" products using mobile and internet technologies which enable connectivity in and outside of your vehicle.
How do I purchase InControl?
InControl products are selected when you order your vehicle, as the hardware can only be fitted at the factory.
Can I buy InControl for my current vehicle?
Currently it is only possible to have InControl on your vehicle if it is selected when the vehicle is ordered, as the hardware is fitted at the factory. Future options are being explored.
How do I know if I have InControl on my used vehicle?
The overhead console will have two flaps which can be pressed open to reveal the emergency call button (SOS icon) and the Land Rover Assistance button (spanner icon). If you are in any doubt, please contact your retailer.
What happens when I purchase a second hand vehicle with InControl and wish to subscribe to the services?
If you purchase a vehicle privately with InControl features, visit: landroverincontrol.com/owner to create an account and activate your subscription.
If you purchase a vehicle from a retailer, the retailer will assist you in registering and activating your InControl subscription.
Any remaining subscription of InControl Remote will be transferred to a new owner. It is not possible to transfer InControl Secure subscriptions.
What happens when I sell my vehicle with InControl features?
When selling, trading in your vehicle or transferring ownership of your vehicle privately (e.g. selling to another party), you must remove the vehicle from your InControl account. To do this, log in to My Land Rover InControl website and click on "remove vehicle" as per the terms and conditions of service. Any remaining subscription of InControl Remote will be transferred to a new owner. It is not possible to transfer InControl Secure subscriptions.
I have bought a used vehicle with an InControl Remote subscription, how do I upgrade this to add InControl Secure?
Please call the InControl Secure Monitoring Centre on 0345 600 4999 to buy an InControl Secure subscription.
How do I register for InControl and activate my account?
If your retailer has not already done so, visit: landroverincontrol.com/owner, enter your email address and the security words, then click "Next" to start the process of creating a new account.
Land Rover offers a mobile phone system to which you can connect an approved mobile phone handset and access many of its important functions via the vehicle keypads, voice activation and steering wheel switches.

Land Rover engineers have tested and recommended the following handsets to meet our quality standards. Please note that not all Bluetooth® enabled mobile phone handsets are compatible with the Land Rover Bluetooth® Connectivity.
