LAND ROVER BURGHLEY HORSE TRIALS

Land Rover is delighted to sponsor the highlight of the equestrian calendar – the historic horse trials at Burghley. One of the three Grand Slam International events, Burghley features one of the most challenging cross country courses in the equestrian world. Tackling all three disciplines is the ultimate test of horse and rider, and the winning combination must demonstrate strength, unity and a spirit of go beyond.

This year's Event will take place from 4-7 September:

Thursday      Dressage
Friday           Dressage
Saturday      Cross Country
Sunday        Show Jumping

The event takes place in the beautiful parkland that surrounds Burghley House in Stamford, Lincolnshire. In addition to horse-related fun, visitors can try the Land Rover Terrapod, attend the Dog Agility competition or browse shops such as Austin Reed and Boodles Jewellery.

Land Rover has been 'Official Vehicle Supplier' at Burghley since the early 1990's, and over the years has become an integral part of the event. In 2005, Land Rover became title sponsor and now provides vehicles for cross country fence judges and feature fences on the course.
